The Four Pillars of Osteoarthritis Therapy
1. Cartilage Vital Therapy
To stimulate the joints and surrounding supportive structures, a carefully coordinated combination of cartilage and muscle extracts is administered intramuscularly. These extracts distribute throughout the joints, enriching the synovial fluid and improving its nutritional value.
The enhanced nutrient supply supports cartilage cells over a longer period, increases the resilience and load‑bearing capacity of the cartilage, and improves joint cushioning. In addition, this therapy has a positive effect on muscles, tendons, and ligaments surrounding the joint.
2. Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy (PMT)
In osteoarthritis, degenerative processes can disrupt the natural electrical balance of cartilage cell membranes, impairing nutrient uptake. Pulsed magnetic fields help normalise these electrical charges, enabling nutrients to enter the cartilage cells more efficiently.
This process supports faster recovery of weakened cartilage cells and contributes to improved cartilage quality. Our PMT system allows simultaneous treatment of two pain regions, which is particularly beneficial when multiple joints such as hips and knees or shoulders are affected. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and offers both time and cost efficiency.
3. Anti‑Pain Infusions
Severe pain is often caused by swelling of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joint capsules, which may intensify at night or during physical load. In some cases, nerve irritation can lead to localised pain or radiating discomfort, for example into the groin, thigh, or upper arm.
In these situations, anti‑pain infusion therapy using selected natural anti‑inflammatory herbal substances helps reduce swelling in the joint capsule and surrounding tissue, thereby easing pain. These infusions can be administered in parallel with pulsed magnetic field therapy.
4. Optional Joint Injections
For pronounced pain in individual joints, targeted joint injections may be used to intensify the therapeutic effect. Cartilage extracts are injected directly into the affected joint and are combined with natural anti‑inflammatory agents and procain, which can help reduce joint capsule inflammation and irritation.
